Packing for college is bittersweet. As we all know. No more laundry being done for you, no more motherly alarm clocks at your door, and no more home-cooked meals :( At the same time, you are about to meet new people, learn new things, and not having mom and dad down your back 24/7.
Every year billions of girls forget the simplest of things before they head off to college. The best solution to this is to find a college checklist or make your own! Let's start:
- extra toothbrushes: God forbid you drop your only toothbrush on the nasty wet community bathroom floor. GROSS!! I almost barfed just thinking about it.
Toothbrush covers: People sneeze, pass gas, cough, and just plain old dirt particles floating in the air can attach and stick onto your toothbrush bristles. Get covers to protect them; they run as low as 50 cents.
- Bath Shoes: I know girls who do this but you should NEVER get used to being barefoot in the bathrooms. Personally, I wouldn’t even recommend socks. If your school has community bathrooms, yeah, wear flip flops or shower shoes. If you are paying a little extra money or you are an honor student and you share a bathroom with two other girls, it might be okay. I hope everyone understands the difference.
There is so much more that I will add to the list at a later time. For now, just visit the site listed below. Enjoy!
